At Mercy Road our youth Ministry is called Wreckless and it is for students in 6-12th grade. We meet at Cornerstone Church Detroit (15000 Southfield Freeway, Detroit) from 6-8pm twice a month. We have teamed up with our friends at Cornerstone Church Detroit to provide a joint youth ministry for our teens, and our partnership together has been amazing! A typical night of Wreckless includes a group game/activity, a teaching and discussion time about how the Bible applies to our lives and a small group time where the students have an opportunity to connect with each other and pray together. We also do events and fun activities from time to time. Our goal is to provide a fun, safe place where teenagers can come and have honest conversations about faith and what it means for their lives.

The teen years are a critical stage for discovering who you are and how you are going to relate to the world around you. Our experiences in middle school and high school have a profound impact on shaping who we as adults. With this in mind, we take our student ministry very seriously and we long to teach our youth sound principles from the Bible that will help them discover who they are in Christ. We also long to see our youth become people who will love God, love others and serve the world. 

Another thing we take very seriously is having fun! We often play crazy group games, watch humorous videos or tell funny stories. Our AWESOME adult volunteers love to have fun as much as the students do, and laughter is highly encouraged!
