About Us

At Mercy Road we exist to lead people back into the arms of God and serve the poor and oppressed in Jesus’ name.  As a result, our church is committed to the person and teachings of Jesus Christ as found in the Bible.  We believe that He is God in the flesh and our risen savior, and we humbly acknowledge that if it weren’t for the death and resurrection of Jesus we would all be lost.

We also believe that we have been called to a life of service, particularly to the poor and oppressed.  Jesus stated that he “did not come to be served but to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many” (Mark 10:45).  His life is the example that we follow, and if Jesus came as a servant, we too must serve the people around us.

We meet Sunday mornings at 10am at the Thurston High School Auditorium (26255 Schoolcraft Ave, Redford Township).  Click here to view a video of what you can expect when you visit us at Mercy Road.
