In all of the Christmas narratives in the Bible, there’s a constant refrain from the angels… Fear not…Do not fear… The angels say it to Mary, they say it to Zechariah the father of John the Baptist, they say it to Joseph when they visit him in a dream…and they say it to the shepherds out in their fields at night…And the rationale given for why all of these individuals do not have to be afraid is because of some grace, some kindness, some love, being shown, some good news being told to them. The apostle John tells us that Perfect love casts out fear…Join us this season of advent Sundays at 10:30am to discover anew the perfect love that casts out fear.
