Good Friday and Easter at Mercy Road

Good Friday: There will be a Good Friday Stations of the Cross opportunity at Mercy Road for prayer and reflection on Friday, March 29th from 4-7pm.  All are welcome and kids are invited to go through this time of prayer with their parents.

The Stations of the Cross refers to a series of images or symbols depicting Jesus on the day of his crucifixion and accompanying reflections/prayers. The stations grew out of imitations of the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem, which is a traditional processional route symbolizing the actual path Jesus walked to the hill where he was crucified. The objective of the stations is to provide an opportunity to make a spiritual pilgrimage through contemplation of the passion of Christ.

We think this will be a powerful time for individuals and families to meet with God as we reflect on the greatest example of His love for us.

Come anytime between 4-7pm. Depending upon your pace, plan on spending about 45 minutes as you work through the 8 stations.

Easter Sunday: Join us for our Easter service on Sunday, March 31 at 10:30AM as we celebrate the One who is making all things new! God is always at work in the world, and we see that most clearly in the resurrection of Jesus! He is the God who restores, forgives, and leads us back into his arms to know his love. Come for a morning of inspirational worship and teaching, and stick around afterwards with your kids for an Easter egg hunt and refreshments. Can't wait to see you there!
